WHAT IS YOUR CURLY HAIR TYPE? |
| Hair that
grows from the follicle and spirals away from the scalp in twists
and turns is referred to as "curly." Every place the hair strand
turns is called a "coil" and the number of coils per inch of hair determines
how curly your hair is. There are probably eight different degrees
of curly. From one coil per inch to eight coils per inch.
The more coils the more curl or the more textured the hair appears.
Ask any curly headed person to describe their hair and you will get any number of responses including wavy, curly, curly ringlets, soft curls, tiny curls, very curly, tightly curled, tight tight curls, super curly, frizzy, big, kinky, coily, nappy, coarse, very coarse, dense, fuzzy, bushy, spongy etc. We couldn't begin to guess
what you mean by curly and you don't know what we mean by curly so we decided
to create a chart called the Curl-O-Meter™ to try and
narrow down the amount of curl and texture visually. Since not everyone
felt represented by the Curl-O-Meter™ we decided
to create a curl chart using known celebrites. Hopefully you
will find your curly twin on the chart. If not please E-MAIL and send us a link to a photo
of a celebrity with your hair type. Send us your photo and where you think you fit. Also give us feed back on the NATURALAXER and the results you receive. Each head of hair is unique. You may have thick hair, thin hair, resistant hair, and even different textures of hair growing from your own scalp. We look forward to hearing from you!
